Woman sues Houston oil exec in daughter’s drug death

A Houston oil industry executive is being sued for $2 million by the mother of a stripper who died from a cocaine overdose while visiting his Galleria-area townhome last year.

In a lawsuit filed Monday, Geneva Cloud accused Robert Pace Andrews of supplying cocaine to her daughter, Jessica Lynn Cloud, 19, and failing to call for help right away when the young woman suffered medical distress after ingesting the drugs.

Andrews could not be reached for comment Monday, but his attorney said the oil executive did not delay summoning help and did not supply the young woman with drugs. Rather, the part-time Centerfold’s dancer brought her own drugs to Andrews’ home, said attorney John Spalding.
