Denon AVR-4306
It was probably a couple of years ago the last time I got excited over a new receiver, but this new AVR-4306 from Denon has some really interesting new functions.

Or what do you say about audio streaming from a networked PC, global web radio, full iPod integration & control, USB Control Interface, HDMI-output with 1080i upscaling. It’s really an amazing piece of hardware.

The list of features is incredibly long, but if you’re a serious gadget freak you have to read more about this baby – it seems to have pretty much everything you could want from a modern receiver:

Analog-to-HDMI video conversion
HDCD® decoding
Dolby Digital EX, DTS-ES, DTS 96/24, Pro Logic IIx & DTS Neo:6 processing
Learning touchscreen remote
130 watts x 7 into 8 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) at 0.05% THD
etc.

But the new and really cool thing about this one is it’s new ethernet capabilities. The price is around $1,999.99 and it should be available now in both silver and black color.
